We are a low key venue that is particularly welcoming to those just starting out / getting back in to dressage / competing. Lead reins are welcome in the Intro tests.
Run under BD rules.
CHAPS members scoring over 60% can use this towards qualification of the 2023 CHAPS (UK) Dressage Championships. (2 scores of over 60% required for qualification).
Intro classes are split Junior / Seniors. Please note the Juniors section may include any Lead Reins, therefore if the rider is a Junior and would prefer to be judged as a Senior they may enter the Senior section.
Due to limited staff, we are not able to provide a reader for competitors. Should you wish to have your test read please work with another competitor or bring someone with you.
If you wish to get points for the dressage series (running from January to June 2023) you must be a member of the Appleton Grange Riding Club. Points are awarded for the same horse/rider combination in each class (you can compete on more than one horse in a class).
