One day show on Bank Holiday Monday - 2 day camp saved for later in year once we have more time to plan the fun!!!
Rudyard Equestrian and Hobby Horse Adventures are partnering and trialling a first ever hobby horse competition / fun day. With only 2 weeks until the Bank Holiday we are expecting a low key event while we test the water!
Height of Poles:
Class 1 - 20cm 10am
Class 2 - 30cm 10.45am
Class 3 - 30cm Pairs (2 children, relay race) 11.30am
Class 4 - 40cm 12.15pm
Class 5 - 50cm 1pm
Class 5 - 50cm Pairs (2 children, relay race) 1.45pm
Class 7 - 60cm 2.30pm
Class 8 - Accumulator (set of jumps Dif heights, points per jump) 3.15pm
Class 9 - Chase me Charlie (increasing height - single jump) 4pm
BOOK ON DAY ONLY:
Class 10 - Grand National (only if time so don't book in advance!)
Star of The Day awards for children that stand out for their exemplary attitude.
Rudyard is a neat and tidy well run yard that caters for children as a riding stables teaching and running Pony Pals. Their onsite ice cream shop attracts the weekend crowd. They are welcoming and nurturing and have a devoted following.
For one weekend only we are transferring their riding school yard into Hobby Horse Show!
We request that you please only eat food bought on the premises at the yard ice cream shop which will be serving bacon baps, sandwiches, pizza, panini, homemade cakes, ice cream, milk shakes, teas, coffees and drinks. They are missing a days bank holiday business to allow us to host here so we need to support them.
Rudyard have fantastic reviews from their customers who mention how inclusive they are and we can t wait to join them! They like ourselves feel very strongly about accessibility and really hope some of our children who are neurodivergent will feel confident enough to come and join us.
Tickets will be -
1 class - £10
2 class - £20
3 class - £30
4 class - £35
Loan pony - £5
If this camp works we can run again perhaps as a camp in other school holidays.
